Our Laboratories: Australia
For IT vendors who develop products to gain access to global markets with stringent security certification requirements, our Security Testing and Certification Laboratories provide both Common Criteria evaluation and Cryptographic module validation.
CSC's Australian-based Common Criteria Evaluation Facility performs its evaluations in accordance with both the international Common Criteria standards and the guidance provided by the Australasian Information Security Evaluation Program (AISEP). The AISEP operates under the Australian Signals Directorate’s certification office; the Australasian Certification Authority (ACA). The CSC Australasian Information Security Evaluation Facility (AISEF) was established in 1995 and is one of only two licensed facilities established under AISEP. The AISEF unit has unique skills in the application of formal methods and other innovative techniques applicable to the design and verification of high assurance software components. CSC's continued success is attributed to absolute dedication to customer service backed up by a world-class security consulting and delivery team.
CSC's Australian lab helps respond to clear market demands for both EAL and Protection Profile evaluations. As part of the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), the AISEF is required to meet the highest quality standards. Products that are evaluated under AISEP gain certification and are listed in the Government's Evaluated Products List (EPL) and the International Common Criteria portal. Products on the EPL are widely used within the Government and Commercial sectors.
