CSC Dynamic Desktop, a virtual desktop offering, is the first of
many services that will comprise CSC Dynamic’s full suite. Offered through a strategic alliance with Citrix, global leader and the most trusted name in application delivery infrastructure, CSC Dynamic Desktop enhances agility, increases security, reduces cost, and dramatically decreases time needed to deploy or upgrade desktop systems. The Dynamic Desktop includes the following features:
- Applications and user data are stored on servers located behind firewalls.
- Employees can access their desktop remotely and securely, regardless of location.
- IT staff can rapidly deploy systems to new users or refresh desktops without having to touch them individually.

CSC and Citrix
This partnership means CSC is able to work alongside Citrix on product development, such as the Citrix “VDI White Glove Program,” which is the early adopter program for XenDesktop 2.0.
CSC has a strong track record with Citrix XenApp. For example, CSC is operating and managing the implementation of Citrix XenApp for 26,000 concurrent seats for the United Kingdom’s National Health Services (NHS).
