The people of CSC make the difference for our clients and our company. Our technical expertise, creative thinking and collaborative spirit are the foundation of every result we deliver, and every milestone we achieve. By ensuring opportunities to network, learn and grow; nurturing diversity and wellness; and recruiting and hiring veterans and their families, we empower our EMPLOYEES-strong global team to deliver the teamwork and innovation that create robust results.

Learn and Develop, Create and Collaborate

An expanding range of programs and tools helps us hone our technology, business and leadership skills as we develop our careers in the personalized ways we choose.

50,000 Hours of Training — On Demand

To deepen their business and technology expertise, CSCers accessed 2 million hours of training this year through a range of learning and certification opportunities, including our 24x7 online learning center, CSC Learning Place. With a convenient, flexible format, this award-winning resource offers 3,500 courses, 120 certification exams, 20,000 digitized books, 1,000 videos and short clips on a variety of topics, and more — a total of 50,000 hours of training in 15 languages, available anytime, anywhere.

Best Practices, Better Learning

By adopting learning best practices, we keep pace with client demand for the latest skills and help grow our careers. For the third year in a row, this commitment was recognized with Corporate University (CorpU) Xchange Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Corporate Learning. Honors included both a Best Practice Award in the Leadership category and an Excellence Award in the Learning Technology category.

Promoting Wellness Transforming Health, Step by Step
Promote employee well being. Improve camaraderie and morale. Raise awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle: By participating in our pilot Walking Challenge this year, CSC employees achieved these and other critical goals while supporting the American Heart Association (AHA).
As part of this program, approximately 350 employees at 10 offices and virtual sites across five U.S. states committed to regular exercise. In the 4-month pilot program, participants lost weight and lowered blood pressure while walking an average of 156 miles per person. With their energy and dedication, our team finished in the top 15 percent of organizations joining the AHA Walking Challenge, and 9 out of 10 of us continued exercising after the program ended.
Nourishing Mind and Body
Our wellness program in the UK and Ireland focuses on encouraging employees to improve mental well being and reduce stress, become more active, avoid back and neck problems and eat healthy diets. We also seek to raise awareness about cancer prevention, and we provide convenient 10-minute checks for key health indicators, including blood pressure, glucose and total cholesterol. In a recent 2-year period, we identified 125 employees with excessively high blood pressure or cholesterol levels that required treatment. We hold events every month, and more than 7,000 employees have attended since 2008.
Taking Our Daughters and Sons to Work
Our offices around the world celebrated Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. CSC India employees hosted 650 young people for theater workshops and other activities, while a well-attended event at our corporate headquarters in Tysons, Virginia centered on environ-mental themes.
