CSC has a proud and long standing commitment to quality that began back in 1994 with our first Certification in ISO 9001 (Quality Management).
Since then our program has continued to grow and expand and we now have added certifications in ISO20000 (Service Management), ISO14000 (Environmental Management), ISO27001 (Security Management), ISO22301, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, TickITPlus, and OHSAS18001 (Health and Safety Management) and are present in over 125 sites in 25 countries around the world.
In April 2016, the number of data centres with ISO50001 (Energy Management) certification increased to eight with addition of Hong Kong and Malaysia and over the next year we plan to expand this program to include all our other strategic Data Centres worldwide.
CSC’s certifications apply to a broad and diverse range of industries including Automotive, Financial Services, Insurance, Life Sciences, Banking, Retail, Healthcare, Utilities, Manufacturing, Mining, Public Sector, Technology, and Transportation. A worldwide team of 100 dedicated professionals ensure that the program continues to be independent, commercially relevant and continually improving. Reinforcing our efforts are Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) and P3i who annually conduct a comprehensive, worldwide program of independent assessments to ensure our certifications are maintained and renewed as necessary.
CSC’s Quality team actively contributes to the improvement and advancement of the Quality industry and is proud of its long standing associations with industry thought leaders. CSC has been part of the CMMI Institute’s partner network for over ten years, and in October 2013 we were presented with an award in recognition of this long association. CSC has also been a member of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) since early 1999. This membership provides access to ethical, socially responsible best practice knowledge from leading businesses around Europe.
Our Quality program provides our clients with level of confidence and assurance that we will capably and reliably meet our service commitments so much so that many of our clients, we are proud to say, regularly leverage and promote their association with CSC and its Quality program to, in turn, provide assurances to their clients.
