Governance

The CSC UK Corporate Responsibility Steering Group chaired by our President and CEO governs our efforts and operates from CSC European Headquarters, in Aldershot.  Our UK corporate responsibility (CR) programme reflects the requirements of CSC's global CR strategy.

Our CR Key Stakeholders include:

Shareholders; Employees; Clients; Suppliers; Strategic Partners; Government; Industry Analysts; Local Community; Partner Charities; Trade Unions; Other Interest Groups.

CSC recognises that engaging with stakeholders is an essential part of responsible business practice and engages its stakeholders in a variety of ways, through customer and employee surveys, collaboration websites, membership of committees and special interest groups, questionnaires and face to face dialogue.

Assessing our CR Risks and Opportunities

At CSC, risks and opportunities related to climate change, sustainability and overall Corporate Social Responsibility issues are assessed in the strategy and operations domains and transferred to our CR Risk Register.  The CR Steering Group determines and directs an appropriate response to management's assurances about residual risk positions.
