CSC Responsible Supply Chain Program
Our suppliers are an integral part of our sustainability strategy. This is why we have established the CSC Responsible Supply Chain Principles. These Principles speak to the commitments we make to our clients and relationships built on trust and personal responsibility. They establish the standards required for conducting business with CSC. Our Principles are available to download and cover the following five main categories:
- Respect for Basic Human Rights of Employees
- Labor Standards and Prohibition of Child Labor
- Prohibition of Corruption and Bribery
- Environmental Protection
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Along with emphasizing these principles, CSC expects suppliers to adhere to relevant national, regional and international laws and standards governing human rights, health and safety, fair labor practices, conflict minerals, the environment, bribery & corruption and equality. We expect our suppliers to introduce suitable processes within their organizations that support compliance with applicable statute and that drive continuous improvements with regard to the principles and requirements laid out in these Principles.
Our goal is to work with our suppliers to ensure full compliance with these Principles. We will consider these Principles in our selection of suppliers and CSC reserves the right to monitor supplier processes and procedures against these Principles.
Every year, we assess the performance of our key suppliers to understand their compliance with the Principles and will support our partners where any gaps are identified through a survey. We encourage our suppliers to complete the survey and engage.
To support our suppliers, we have developed a short awareness program to describe to our suppliers the changes that we have made to our Responsible Supply Chain Principles and what we are now expecting from you.
