Middle East and North Africa: About to Get Cloudy!
Cloud and its various “as a service” opportunities are about to see some major growth in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) over the next 4 years.
Research firm, Gartner, published a new report projecting stats for the MENA region in 2013.
It is predicted the more rapidly growing cloud-based services will include Business Process as a service (BPaaS) as well as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The cloud market will also see “dynamic” growth in Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service arenas through 2016.
Perhaps the most interesting projection of all is that, “Cloud advertising will grow from $56.6 billion in 2012 to $192 billion in 2016 and will be the single largest source of spending within the cloud services marketplace.”
