CSC NAMED THE OFFICIAL IT SPONSOR OF THE 2007 AMGEN TOUR OF CALIFORNIA

Tracking Technology to Help Cycling Fans Track Riders and Teams Throughout Bike Race

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Feb. 8 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it is the official information technology (IT) sponsor and a “founding partner” of the 2007 Amgen Tour of California. The event is a Tour de France style cycling road race in which 18 of the world’s top professional teams will compete along a demanding 650-mile course from San Francisco to Long Beach, Calif., this Feb. 18-25.

As the official IT sponsor, CSC will provide wireless global positioning system (GPS) object field tracking to help fans follow riders and teams throughout the race. The GPS capability is part of CSC’s new OmniLocation suite of location awareness technologies designed to provide safety, security and accountability services to its clients worldwide.

CSC will use the tracking technology to provide cycling fans with a Google Maps view of select race leaders and vehicles at www.csc.com/toctracker. Using GPS and general packet radio service (GPRS) technology, the tracking solution will offer a near real-time “bird’s eye” view of multiple objects moving at speed and in close proximity along with information detail previously available only at ground level. CSC will supply the data, which will allow the entire field to be seen visibly moving over the race course. Tagged riders will carry 90-gram field trackers, which communicate data through the T-Mobile GSM network. In addition, the Yahoo! Maps geographic information system will display rider locations through Adobe Presentation media at www.amgentourofcalifornia.com.

CSC also will present stage five of the Amgen Tour of California, the Solvang time trial, on Friday, Feb. 23, and receive enhanced on-site and broadcast exposure on network partner VERSUS that day, including promotional announcements, company themed interviews, active participation in the awards ceremony and course signage.

“The Amgen Tour of California is the perfect vehicle for CSC to showcase some of the things we’re most proud of,” said CSC President and Chief Operating Officer Mike Laphen. “These include our leading edge technology solutions, the number one cycling team in the world – Team CSC – and the state of California, which is home to our headquarters.”

Team CSC, the number one pro-cycling team and winner of the team competition in the inaugural Amgen Tour of California in 2006, will return to compete in the 2007 race. Throughout the eight days of the race, the riders will compete against 17 other world-class teams as they seek victory for a second consecutive year.

“We are looking forward to defending our great results from last year at the Amgen Tour of California and perhaps even more,” said Bjarne Riis, owner and manager of Team CSC. “We definitely made our mark in the premiere edition and we are very motivated to come back and ride in the front. It is a great race and we intend to make CSC and our other U.S.-based sponsors proud.”

“Our goal is to build upon the Amgen Tour of California fan experience year after year, and we are thrilled that CSC will be joining us to help accomplish that, especially by enabling fans to get even more involved in the race by being able to pinpoint how the race leaders are doing from their desktops,” said Shawn Hunter, president of AEG Sports, presenters of the race.
