I encourage and practise entrepreneurship
because the successes of the individual entrepreneurs form the basis for a successful business.
How do I do that?
I establish the organisational framework for the employees to do their jobs, use their competencies and assume their responsibilities to achieve the business objectives. I clearly define and communicate these three factors.
I support team cooperation
because I know that optimum team work produces the best results.
How do I do that?
I ensure an optimum team mix, taking into consideration the needs, strengths and development potential of the team members, establishing the right working conditions and creating incentives. I encourage team spirit and the exchange of information across teams. I ensure that the team celebrates its successes and learns from its failures.
I leverage the development of my employees
because the employees are the core of our success.
How do I do that?
I provide orientation by agreeing on clear and achievable objectives and appraising performance fairly. I provide medium and long-term personnel development opportunities and agree on appropriate personnel development measures with the employees.
I lead according to CSC´s values and am a living example of what I expect of my employees
because I am aware of my model function as a supervisor.
How do I do that?
I set an example of how to implement business processes, rules and instructions and ensure that these are known and complied with. The values of CSC in Switzerland form the basis for my actions and provide guidance for my role. I encourage a living, open feedback culture and strive towards self-reflection.
I represent CSC at all times, always identifying with CSC’s values and objectives
because this allows for a clear market positioning and a clear internal orientation.
How do I do that?
I am aware of my function as a representative of CSC and conduct myself in the highest professional manner, both internally and externally. I know the business vision, objectives, strategy and values of the company and can communicate these within and outside the company. I see myself as an entrepreneur and act as such by assuming responsibility for the realisation of our business objectives and by showing my pride in the results CSC achieves.
