A Day in the Life of Sandra

Guiding and Supporting“I work in change management, which I define as the soft part of project management. I mean that in a positive way as it’s about making whatever change is happening in an organization as pain-free as possible. "Basically, my role involves listening to the customer and working closely to help solve issues and improve situations. Change management is about changing behaviors and the way people work. It may be that a customer has implemented a new process, software or system, or is introducing a new organizational structure. All these things can have a substantial impact on employees. My role involves working closely with the customer and the project manager in charge of the more technical or operational side to understand exactly what will change and offering training and support to employees. I work with a wide range to tools and techniques. I find CSC to be a very pragmatic company that offers everything I need to succeed in my role. We have a local employee brand, Freedom Works Better, and it really does. I translate Freedom Works Better as trust. CSC trusts me to deliver good results and I can do that however I want. |
“One of the things I enjoy most about my job, aside from my day-to-day activities for clients, is being a coach for colleagues." |
