Alexander J. Black leads the Enterprise Intelligence Strategy team for CSC’s Big Data and Analytics Business Unit. Mr. Black has over 30 years of broad-based experience in information systems, finance, sales and marketing. He specializes in directing consulting engagements that develop a client’s vision and strategy to transform business processes and information systems to achieve the organization’s growth objectives.
Mr. Black is a member of the Advisory Board of the CMO Council and has lead projects for many marquee clients across industry verticals on behalf of CSC. Mr. Black holds a B.A. from Westminster College and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University.
Mr. Madurai is a Senior Partner in CSC’s Big Data and Analytics Practice where he focusses on Insurance and Diversified Sectors. Mr. Madurai has over 20 years of enterprise level IT strategy, business architecture and enterprise architecture experience working primarily as a customer CTO and Chief Architect in end user organizations. He specializes in trusted advisory, continuous provision of board-level guidance in the formulation and implementation of solution landscapes and leading consulting engagements that focus on realising a client’s vision by better use of disruptive innovation in information technology.
Mr. Madurai is an active member of a number of industry forums including The Open Group, OMG, Component and Distributed Systems (CODIS) Research Group and Advisory Councils and has lead projects for many global 1000 clients across industry verticals on behalf of CSC. Mr. Madurai holds a PhD from Kingston University, London, UK, M.B.A from Symbiosis International University, India and M.S (Software Engineering) from BITS, Pilani, India.
Carl Kinson leads Technology Strategy and Governance for CSC Big Data & Analytics Business Unit. His current responsibility is to define the technology strategy and develop the reference architectures, working across CSC's CTO community and vendor ecosystem to provide alignment and thought leadership for technology adoption and integration into CSC Big Data solutions and offerings.
He has over 17 years experience designing, building and managing complex solutions that help clients across Industries maximize the potential of their organization through business led IT solutions.
Jim Kaskade is a visionary CEO in emerging technology environments. Jim has led companies in cloud computing, software as a service (SaaS), online and mobile digital media, online and mobile advertising, and semiconductors from their founding to acquisition. Prior to joining Infochimps, Jim was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at PARC, a Xerox company, where he helped advance PARC’s Big Data program. Earlier, as Chief of Cloud at SIOS, Jim was responsible for the company’s corporate cloud strategy, as well as for expanding the company’s global footprint with private cloud solutions. Prior to SIOS, Jim was CEO of StackIQ, a leading cloud startup and Big Data operating system provider. Jim started his analytics and data-warehousing career working at Teradata for 10 years where he initiated the company’s in-database analytics and data mining programs.
Rus Records is a Principal with CSC’s Big Data & Analytics incubator. He is responsible for the development of BD&A offerings for manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, and the transportation industries. Currently he is leading the Smart Manufacturing offering, that is being proposed and delivered to a number of aerospace manufacturing companies.
His previous role was as the acting CTO for United Launch Alliance, the start-up joint venture of Lockheed-Martin and Boeing Space Systems, where he led the development of the enterprise architecture and the virtualized data center. He has also served for three years as the CTO of the Chemical, Energy, and Natural Resources Group at CSC and was named a CSC “Distinguished Architect” in 2011. He is a former winner of the CSC Eagle Award of Excellence.
Rus is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy in Aeronautical Engineering, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Masters in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Mark Lenke is a Director with CSC’s Big Data and Analytics business unit and is responsible for its global business consulting offerings. He has over 30 years of diverse experience spanning across several industries including Telecommunications, Insurance, Food Service, Advertising, Manufacturing, Forest Products, and Pharmaceuticals. He has spent the last fifteen years designing, implementing and managing big data and business intelligence solutions in multi-vendor, domestic and international environments for Fortune 500 companies.
Mark likes to invest his time challenging clients to leverage data in new ways while developing direction and planning for functional and corporate level initiatives. He has served as a solutions delivery manager responsible for the architecture and deployment of Big Data, Data Warehouse and related transaction-based solutions for several client engagements.
Mark is a Business Consultant with over 15 years experience across industries in both the public and private sector. He joined CSC in September 2011 and is a leader in business strategy, architectures and delivery approaches surrounding new business models that are enabled by data and technology solutions. He has led a number of large projects and programs developing and delivering solutions that are aligned to business objectives. Mark specializes in big data and analytics, digital transformation, business model innovation, service design, customer experience design, omni-channel marketing, sales and support, CRM, collaboration, social business, social media, identity management, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and other disruptive and innovative technologies.
Shawn Nelson is a Senior Solution Architect with CSC's Big Data and Analytics business unit and provides business consulting and Big Data strategy services to our clients. He has 20 years of experience supporting several industries including Petroleum / Natural Resources, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Insurance, and Pharmaceuticals. He has spent the last 17 years developing, managing, and implementing Customer Relationship Management and Business Intelligence / Analytics systems for CSC clients across the globe.
