Premium, CSC's business magazine | Autumn 2008 | No. 5

DIRECTV: Growing After Supply Chain Makeover.
DIRECTV is the world's leading provider of direct-to-home satellite delivered television programming services. It partnered with CSC to reengineer its supply chain. It resulted in increasing order fullfilment volume by 300 per cent and reducing the cost of acquiring new subscribers by more than 9 per cent.

The "Business gain from how you retain" study carried out by the Chief Marketing Officers (CMO) Council.
The key challenges of identity and access management.
Biometric passports, smart cards, USB flash drives... the technology behind identity management, dubbed Identity & Access Management (IAM), is moving on rapidly. But how does this sector evolves and progresses in areas such as the authentication of individuals or data protection? It relies heavily on the management of people's identity, in the form of a passport or an ID card. So what is CSC doing to aid governments with this type of project? Premium evaluates the situation.
