The EarlyResolution® Borrower Inquiry is a tool accessed by servicers, homeowners and credit counseling agencies used to track the status of requests for assistance. It informs borrowers of loss mitigation status and progress, including the tracking and uploading of missing documents. Borrower Inquiry expedites the process and facilitates communication between customers and loan servicers.
Part of the EarlyResolution Borrower Portal, Borrower Inquiry can be used by any servicer, not just those using CSC’s EarlyResolution default management software, even on smartphones and tablet devices. The tool can reduce the inbound call volume regarding workout status by as much as 30 percent. This is critical in freeing staff to focus on the larger picture of preventing foreclosures. In addition, this tool helps reinforce the single point of contact (SPOC) requirements and significantly improves the borrower experience in the workout process.
