Hogan Transaction Analyzer

CSC’s Hogan® Transaction Analyzer gives software developers a simple and targeted approach to application analysis for faster updates. The software performs mainframe trace and capture, and then downloads results for convenient desktop analysis of transaction paths. Programmers find the right code to edit with easy point-and-click functionality. The tool can be used in development, testing and production, and the increased speed and reduced errors can cut analysis and testing phases by as much as 30 percent.

While traditional mainframe development tools usually help, they’re limited for CSC’s Hogan and CAMS II® Card & Merchant systems because they don’t understand Hogan Umbrella® internals or have visibility into all program calls. Hogan Transaction Analyzer overcomes these limitations by allowing programmers to “see” all programs that are executed in the sequence they’re called — whether accessed through CICS or directly through CICSPEM.
