CSC Names Eland General Manager for Marketing & Communications in Australia


Sydney, Australia, September 18, 2008 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today it has appointed Sonia Eland to the newly created position of General Manager of Marketing and Communications for its Australian operations.

Formerly General Manager for Marketing and Communications at Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, Eland will take on this new role to spearhead CSC’s marketing and communications strategy and increase the company’s brand awareness in Australia.

“This appointment further accelerates the company’s efforts toward increasing its brand recognition in Australia and broadening awareness of our world class consulting, outsourcing and systems integration capabilities,” said Nick Wilkinson, President of CSC’s Australian operations. “With more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience, Sonia will play an instrumental role in marketing CSC’s capabilities and solutions to existing and potential customers."

Eland brings to CSC a track record of implementing marketing, brand and customer experience strategies for companies such as the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, HSBC, Westpac, Integral Energy, travel.com.au and lastminute.com. She has a Master of Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney.
