CSC Signs Contract with Australian Electoral Commission


Sydney, Australia, 14 December 2009 - CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has signed a new four-year information technology contract with the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC). The estimated value of the contract, which runs through 2013, is AUD$8 million.

Under the terms of the new agreement, CSC will continue to provide comprehensive mainframe and network communication services to support the Electoral Roll. CSC will also implement a disaster recovery system to protect the data held by the AEC.

CSC currently manages AEC's mainframe, along with DIAC under the Cluster 3 Outsourcing Agreement signed in 1997.
