Pettigrew to Lead Healthcare Operations for CSC in Australia
Sydney, Australia, 2 July, 2009 - CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today it has appointed Lisa Pettigrew to the newly created position of Director of Health Services for its Australian operations.
Pettigrew will spearhead CSC's health strategy in Australia to increase the company's footprint with new and existing clients.
"With more than 15 years of experience in business and IT change programmes, Lisa will undoubtedly be an asset to CSC as the company charges ahead with its focus on contributing and playing a strategic role in the Australian government's e-health agenda. Pettigrew brings to CSC a deep understanding of the Australian health system, its State and Federal government relations, policy and funding processes coupled with knowledge of the health systems overseas, including North America, UK, Western Europe and Asia Pacific.
She has a track record of assisting health delivery organisations realise tangible improvements in their operations, including throughput, patient experience and staff engagement.
As part of the CSC team, Pettigrew will have immediate access to over 4,700 dedicated CSC health professionals around the world. She will be instrumental in bringing global best practices and e-health technology leadership to help shape health reform, the e-health agenda and an integrated enhancement of technology throughout all parts of the health system,
