SKM implements Organice to manage and control project documentation
CSC Australia will implement Organice at leading engineering, sciences and project delivery firm, Sinclair Knight Merz. CSC will rollout Organice a SharePoint based solution for engineering document management and document control, to all SKM users across 4 continents and almost 50 offices.
Western Australia Government justice agencies renew infrastructure contract
Under the new five year contract, CSC will deliver IT services to the Department of the Attorney General and the Department of Corrective Services including network security, a help desk and infrastructure supporting the courts and prisons. CSC will also support computer links between WA Police and the Department of Transport.
CSC appointed to SME Panel of the National Smart Metering Program (NSMP)
The NSMP will develop a smart metering framework to enable consumers to make more informed choices and better manage their electricity use and greenhouse gas emissions, reduce demand for peak power with potential infrastructure savings, and drive efficiency and innovation in electricity business operations and retail market competition. Panel members will provide specialist input to the technical and operational aspects of the framework.
